Sanaigmore Bay & Smaull cliffs, Isle of Islay

The Western peninsula of Islay, known as The Rhinns of Islay, is a landscape shaped by the Atlantic Ocean. On the north coast of the peninsula is Sanaigmore bay with its sandy and rocky coast. West of the bay are the rugged cliffs of Smaull. This coastline is part of some of the oldest geology in Scotland.
