Carsaig Bay, Isle of Mull

located on the wild southern coast of the Ross of Mull, Carsaig offers one of the most  distinct and geologically rich landscapes on the Isle of Mull.

At Carsaig the sea has eroded the volcanic bosalt lava. The bay is backed by vertical dark basalt cliffs rising to 240m.
