Kilchoan, Arnamurchan

Kilchoan is generally regarded as the most westerly village on mainland Britain. A few small nearby hamlets edge further west, but Kilchoan gets the title most people recognise. Ardnamurchan sits on the remains of a gigantic volcanic system around 60 million years old.

It faces the Sound of Mull and offers views of the Isle of Mull.
