A walk to some of the most remote coastline on the Isle of Islay. Proaig is known for its former farmhouse that is now used as a bothy. Proaig bay sits at the foot of Beinn Bheigeir, the highest peak on the island.
The landscape is heather moorland, blanket bog and rocky outcrops. Views across the Sound of Islay to Jura.
9 tough miles walked in total.
