The Cleveland Way is a National Trail in ancient Cleveland in northern England. It runs 110 miles (177 km) from Helmsley to the Brigg at Filey, skirting the North York Moors National Park. I walked just 6 miles of its coast path between Robin Hood's Bay & Whitby. This section of the trail is also the end/start of the coast to coast walk & I passed a few weary looking hikers nearing the end of their journey. It started as a bright sunny but windy day (30mph gusts) but dark storm clouds from the South West loomed up behind me. Fortunately the rain missed me and passed out to sea.
