West Kirby

A holiday resort on the Dee Estuary has the problem of a sea that recedes a very long way. West Kirby solved this problem by  making a big artificial marine lake which is a big sailing and wind surfing destination. Thats about the only interesting thing about West Kirby really (well, aside from the fact I used to spend childhood holidays here staying with a couple of Aunties).
