Exploring a 14 mile stretch along the north coast of Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands from Melvich bay, via Strathy Bay and on to Farr Bay at Bettyhill.
Following the travels of a 2011 Brazilian Volkswagen Type 2 camper van around the UK. Zoom in/out on the map to see where we have visited. Click on the marker to find the link direct to that page. I will be adding more and more of my locations from the last few years over the coming weeks.

Coast walk - Golspie to Brora
A largely uneventful coast walk along a section of the John O' Groats way with some great clouds and grass blowing in the strong winds.
The walk took me past Dunrobin Castle and Carn Liath Broch.
Dunrobin Castle is a stately home in Sutherland, in the Highland area of Scotland, that serves as the family seat of the Earl of Sutherland, Chief of Clan Sutherland. Dunrobin's origins lie in the Middle Ages, but most of the present building and the gardens were added by Sir Charles Barry between 1835 and 1850.
CÃ rn Liath (English: Grey Cairn) is an Iron Age broch (Broch - a drystone hollow-walled structure found across Scotland).
