And so to the lake district....

Left morecombe behind and finally made it to Cumbria and the Lakes. Sunny start to the day but from 2pm onwards it has been raining.

Started the days tour along the south lake peninsulas overlooking morecambe bay and on to Barrow-in-furness. Not the most exciting bit of the uk coast but still interesting to see.

Grange Over Sands - a small town overlooking Morcambe Bay, but seperated from the bay by a railway. The green stuff is actually sand with grass growing on it. It also had a nice duck pond (yes, more ducks)

Looking out towards Roa Island and Piel Island Castle, near Barrow-In-Furness.
