New Islington canal Marina in Central Manchester (Ancoats) has a couple of resident swans as well as the usual selection of ducks and Canada Geese.
A couple of Moorhens have also recently made it their home and this week has seen the arrival of their chicks.
We have also had a visit from a Cormorant who seems to be quite happy spending all day sitting on a duck house.
