A stunning bright sunny day out in the Peak District today bought a lot of Sunday walkers (and cross country runners) out and about. Following a freezing night there was a lot of heavy frost and treacherous ice on the paths.
This was a walk of 2 parts. First, a hike up and along Rushop Edge & Lord's Seat, heading West, before returning back to the van for a bit of Lunch. Then it was a return visit to Mam Tor with the aim of going further along the ridge and climbing Back Tor. When I did this walk in December it starting Hailing before I got to Back Tor and meant climbing it was pointless (and dangerous).
