Withernsea

Friday 14th Oct

An unremarkable seaside resort town with a sand beach. The most interesting thing about this town is the pier entrance to a non existent pier.

As an example of coastal erosion, a plaque on the sea wall informs of a 13th Century church that once stood over 1.5 miles out to sea.
