Ireland day 14
It was a long drive to my next destination of Achill Island, which I broke up part way with a stop over at Downpatrick Head. The gigantic seastack DĂșn Briste at the headland is one of the highlights of the rugged Atlantic coast in northern Mayo. Reaching a height of nearly 50 metres, the rock is visible from afar and is one of the striking landmarks of the Wild Atlantic Way.
