Corie Mhic Flearchair, Beinn Eighe

A walk up through the Torridon mountain landscape to what is considered to be one of the best Corries in Scotland with its triple buttress. Corries are ice-gouged bowls carved into the side of mountains by glaciers during the last ice age. Often ringed by crags and sometimes cradling a lochan.

This walk was 5 miles climbing to a height of over 600 ft and then 5 miles back again via the same path.

The photos start with some pictures from the drive to the walk with some early sun just about shining through on the Torridon mountains landscape.

Ob Mheallaidh, Upper Loch Torridon

A walk around Ob Mheallaidh (Gailic for 'Bay of Deception') and the small peninsula that separates the bay from the rest of Loch Torridon.

It has the name Bay of Deception due to the large boulders that surround and lie within the bay making hazards for any boats.
