Porth curno and Treen cliff

A walk along the cliffs from Porth Curno. Treen Cliff is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) located on the Penwith Peninsula. Then back to the beach for a sit in the warm October sunshine.

Designated for both for its biological and geological interest, part of the site, Treryn Dinas, is a Scheduled Ancient Monument consisting of a "cliff castle" with four ramparts and ditches and the Logan Rock.

Porthcurno beach and bay enclosed by the Logan Rock headland has been listed among the ten most beautiful bays in the World (although I can not find the reference for this so it may not be true!)

Sennen to Ballowall Common

A walk along the coast from Sennen beach to Ballowall common before a return cross country following ancient paths through the fields.

Ballowall Barrow is a prehistoric funerary cairn (chambered tomb) which contains several phases of use from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age. It is situated on the cliff top at Ballowall Common, near St Just.
