A walk along the cliffs from Porth Curno. Treen Cliff is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) located on the Penwith Peninsula. Then back to the beach for a sit in the warm October sunshine.
Designated for both for its biological and geological interest, part of the site, Treryn Dinas, is a Scheduled Ancient Monument consisting of a "cliff castle" with four ramparts and ditches and the Logan Rock.
Porthcurno beach and bay enclosed by the Logan Rock headland has been listed among the ten most beautiful bays in the World (although I can not find the reference for this so it may not be true!)
