Foyers is a village in the Highland council area of Scotland, lying on the east shore of Loch Ness. Foyers is also the name of the river which runs nearby into the Loch, which has two waterfalls, one of 27 metres (89 ft) and the other 9 metres (30 ft), known as the Falls of Foyers.
My walk took me from the shores of Loch Ness, and then following forest paths east and then back west, before descending back to shore via the water falls (which were not in full flow thanks to the lack of heavy rain recently).
