Central Isle of Mull - road trip

The mountains of Mull are a result of volcanic activity that created the island along with the stepped landforms. Glaciers finished forming the landscape. After the ice melted the island has been rising as much as 2mm each year resulting in sea caves well above sea level and raised beaches.
