To the north of the fell is Skiddaw Forest. Confusingly this forest contains no trees, —other than the windbreak of Skiddaw House — but is a marshy upland area at around 1,300 ft surrounded on all sides by higher fells.
Following the travels of a 2011 Brazilian Volkswagen Type 2 camper van around the UK. Zoom in/out on the map to see where we have visited. Click on the marker to find the link direct to that page. I will be adding more and more of my locations from the last few years over the coming weeks.

Lonscale Fell
2nd part of today's walk took me partly up Lonscale Fell and around to Glenderaterra Beck.
To the north of the fell is Skiddaw Forest. Confusingly this forest contains no trees, —other than the windbreak of Skiddaw House — but is a marshy upland area at around 1,300 ft surrounded on all sides by higher fells.
