Walla Crag was once recorded as 1234ft above sea level. However more recent work by Ordinance Survey now puts the height at 1243ft instead.

Walla Crag, Suprise View & Lodore wood
A 6.5 mile walk from Keswick, with a climb up Walla Grag for some impressive views over Derwent Water. It was then on to Ashness Bridge and another climb up to "Surprise View" (which is signposted for at least 1 mile and therefore is not much of a surprise). Then a descent through Lodore Woods down to the road for the bus back to Keswick.
