After sitting out the 55mph wind and horizontal rain storm on Sunday, I was back on the road on Monday. I Left Skye and followed the road north through Wester Ross. After the previous days downpour, the mountain streams and rivers were in full dramatic flow.
As strange as it sounds, I am also happy that it is no longer just blue sky all day long. I much prefer the mixed weather days of occasional rain and sunshine.
