The walk started by following the old railway route from Keswick to the slopes of Blencathra and then following the path above Gleneraterra Valley. Returning below the Lonscale Crags before a final assent of Latrigg fell.

Walk around Derwent water
A grey day with low cloud so not a day for climbing any fells, so I walked the full 8.5 miles around Derwent Water.
The lake has a Surface area of 2 sq mi (5 km2), an average depth of 5.5 m (18 ft 1 in) to a max depth of 22 m (72 ft).
