The last ever air cooled VW Beetle from Mexico production line 2003

Danbury Motor Caravans (AKA Beetles UK & birth parents to Skooby) have this VW Beetle for sale at £12k. It is a Mexican air cooled and was the last one off the production line.

The also have this tidy looking T25

and a few of Skoobys future cousins....

Bristol City

Skooby was in for his service on Wednesday so I took the train into Bristol. I am in no rush to get back again.

Severn Bridge(s)

Quick stop over on Tues afternoon to check out the Severn Bridges 1 & 2. The Tide was well and truely out.

Tintern Abbey

The house I grew up in (part 1)

This is Skooby parked up outside the house I grew up in (age 2 to 11) in Staffordshire. Gordon Banks lived opposite and you would often see Stoke City Football club kit hanging on the washing line. Simpler times in the 70s!

And this is the pub car park I spent time with a glass of coke and a packet of salt & Vineger. My parents claim not to remember leaving me in the car here, but how come I knew to look for the Robin Hood Inn in the village?
