A lone woman appeared to be trapped by the incoming tide and wading through water between sand dunes. The coast guard rescue team arrived and blew up their little boat and waded out to "rescue" her. However, it seems she was not cut off as such and in a" bit of a state" and did not want to be rescued screaming at the people trying to help her. There were also suggestions that she has a knife. The police and rescue hovercraft were subsequently called. The story in pictures below.....

Liverpool Bay coast guard rescue
Just before Wallasey, overlooking Liverpool Bay, I came across a bit of drama.
